CY4GATE S.p.A. was founded in Rome in 2014. Its customers include companies, institutions and defence and law-enforcement organisations. They need to spot threats, investigate information and practise responding before a real incident supplies the surprise exam.

The group sells software, systems and related services. RTA supports threat detection, DIATEAM builds simulated environments for cyber training, and QUIPO helps users organise and analyse information. Cybersecurity is one part of the business; intelligence and investigation products are another. A large contract can therefore involve considerably more than installing a security application.
